]]> Author applications for the 4th Annual BookFest on Saturday, September 28, 2013 are now available at www.bookfest.org/author. This year’s BookFest will feature an indoor event for authors to sell their books, network with other authors and market their materials. More information about programs will be announced as it becomes available. Authors are encouraged to submit a copy of their book(s) and any additional materials, such as a press kit, to complete their applications. Mail all materials to:

]]> The Glen Ellyn Public Library is proud to partner with The Bookstore and Bundles of Books to bring you the fourth annual BookFest: A Celebration of Books in Downtown Glen Ellyn on Saturday, September 28, 2013! This all-ages festival provides residents of Glen Ellyn an opportunity to come together and enjoy unique literary events throughout the community, featuring acclaimed and local authors.

We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker for the event: Ayana Mathis. Mathis, a graduate from the University of Iowa’s Writer’s Workshop, recently published her debut novel to much critical acclaim. In The Twelve Tribes of Hattie, Mathis tells the story of the children of the Great Migration through the trials of one unforgettable family.

Please stay tuned for more information about BookFest 2013. Come to BookFest in Downtown Glen Ellyn, IL this fall to meet a new favorite author, engage in conversation, get a book signed, and do some shopping.
